Our Founder, Valeria Richardson

Valeria Richardson is the founder of Making Lives Matter, a South Carolina–based nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering individuals, particularly through youth development and community-focused initiatives. Under her leadership, the organization operates as a registered 501(c)(3) charitable entity, committed to creating meaningful impact and positive change in the lives of others.

A passionate servant-leader, Valeria Richardson is also widely recognized as a mentor, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and author. She is deeply driven by her purpose to inspire others to walk boldly in their calling, overcome fear, and execute their vision. Through her work, she emphasizes personal growth, faith, and intentional living as key foundations for success.

Known for her heart for service and community, Valeria uses both her nonprofit and her platform as a speaker and leader to encourage transformation, promote empowerment, and help individuals realize their full potential. Her mission is rooted in making a lasting difference – one life at a time.
